Each year, the MMPA hosts an open call for plein air artists across the nation, selecting 30 to participate in the competition.
Artists live and work in Allegany County for a week during the competition, moving from place to place, in rain and sunshine, capturing vistas and scenery well known to residents of our community.
The call for entry will be available in December 2019 for artists wishing to apply. Entries will be accepted through www.callforentry.org.
